TFUMC Weekday Preschool is celebrating 31 Years!
Thank you for your interest in our Weekday Preschool Ministry. Our preschool is a ministry of Tucker First United Methodist Church. Students in our ministry will be part of an environment that is faith based. We have chapel in the sanctuary one a week, sing Bible songs and use other types of curriculum to introduce our students to a God who loves them. Our goal is to meet the needs of each student, including physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual development, while providing a safe and FUN place. Our students enjoy music and movement class once a week, go to the playground every day and enjoy very special activities during the year, such as Dr. Seuss Week / Dress like a book Character, Children Around the World / Cultural Costume Day, Super Hero Day, Birthday Party for Jesus and more! Our school day is 9:00am until 1:00pm. Our school year runs mid-August through Mid-May. We generally follow the DeKalb County School System holiday and weather calendar. The 2023-2024 school year is August 16, 2023 – May 15, 2024. Students bring their own lunch and snack. We have a great time dining together! Morning arrival: Staff members are present to help the children out of the cars and to their classrooms or parents may walk students in. Afternoon dismissal: Parents or other adults pick up children from the classrooms. (We will make exceptions for certain circumstances).
