Lent, the period of 40 days leading up to Palm Sunday and Easter, is a time of preparation, reflection and renewal. We invite you to begin your Lenten journey by joining us for an outdoor Ash Wednesday service. Then each Wednesday evening throughout Lent, we will gather outdoors for music, prayer and storytelling.

February Blood Drive A Success!
We collected 38 pints of lifesaving blood during our February Blood Drive. The next blood drive will on
Thursday, March 11 from 2:30 – 7:30 pm.
Blood donors can sign up at http://redcrossblood.org and use site code TUCK1UMC.
Blood drive volunteers are needed to greet donors and manage the snack table. You can sign up for a two-hour shift at https://tinyurl.com/blooddrivevols.

2021 NETWorks Cooperative Ministry Volunteers & Donations needed.
NETWorks continues their all outdoor distribution with pre-packed bags of grocery items in 2021. Hours remain Wednesday/Friday/Saturday from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Volunteers from low risk groups are needed to help pack and distribute bags of groceries. No experience necessary; training will be provided.

You must sign-up in advance to volunteer; walk-in volunteers will be unable to serve as NETWorks is closely managing volunteer numbers to maintain social distancing.
NETWorks Groceries can be order Online. Shopping for groceries and necessities is hard for all of us right now. NETWorks Cooperative is having the same problem that many of you are having in finding certain items. When you are shopping, they would appreciate you picking up a few items for them if you can find them.
NETWorks has a cart available outside for drive-by drop-off on Tues/Wed and Fri/Sat from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at 2380 Fourth Street. They are in a shared building with Habitat for Humanity, directly behind Tucker First Baptist Church. You can also order from Amazon and have items shipped directly to NETWorks.
