Spiritual Life Retreat
The North Georgia Spiritual Life Retreat, held at Glisson Camp and Retreat Center in the North Georgia Mountains, is open to youth 6th through 12th grade and is planned and carried out by an amazing group of dedicated youth and adult leaders in our conference.
Confirmation Retreat
Our annual Confirmation Retreat is a great experience for the current Confirmation class. The class will travel to Lake Junaluska to gather with students from across the Jurisdiction to grow deeper in the understanding of their faith.
Confirmation Sunday
A special Sunday set aside to confirm our students who have spent the year growing deeper in their faith.
Senior Banquet
At the end of the school year we take time to honor our graduating seniors with a banquet in the Activities Center. Program begins at 6 p.m. and ends by 8 p.m.
Choir Tour
Each year the Youth Choir travels to a part of the world to perform at churches and experience their Christian faith in different places.
T.I.M.E. – Tucker Interfaith Mission Experience
Tucker First UMC is bringing back T.I.M.E. for 2015. T.I.M.E. is a local mission helping those in Tucker needing assistance with home repair and unable to afford repairs. Our goal is to help those in our community have a decent place to live.
YOUTH2015
YOUTH 2015 is the national gathering for United Methodist youth groups and their leaders. YOUTH 2015 will be from June 24-28, 2015 in Orlando, FL (for 2015 only).
VBS
Each year the Youth at Tucker First UMC provide leadership and support for the Children's Ministries Vacation Bible School. It is a week long experience with lots of laughter, fun and experiencing God!
Youth Week
During the end of the Summer Break the youth gather for a week long experience of mission outreach and fun outings. Cost of the outings is kept to a minimum to ensure all are able to attend.
