Lynn Urda, Director of Youth & Children’s Choirs at Tucker First UMC has spent the majority of her professional life serving as a church musician in the United Methodist Church. She holds a degree in Music Education and Voice from Florida State University. Lynn is also the Conductor and Music Director of the Gwinnett Young Singers (GYS), now in their twenty-fifth Anniversary Season. GYS is a Grammy-winning, nationally recognized children’s choir, who for the past decade has performed over one hundred concerts with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Lynn is an active and highly acclaimed guest clinician for choral festivals, honor’s and all state choruses and conferences for children, youth and their directors.
Lynn and her husband David reside in the Stone Mountain/Tucker area.
